product description
SY-QT-2000NDIR fixed (with on-site display sound and light alarm) infrared gas detector adopts imported infrared digital sensing module, based on advanced NDIR (non dispersive infrared) technology, can detect the concentration values of various gases, and can measure gases such as NH3, CO, CH4, SF6, CO2, SO2, C2H4, C3H8, C4H10, C2H2, etc. This type of detector is characterized by non-interference and intelligence. Simple menu based calibration and modular design and assembly simplify installation, maintenance, and debugging. There are multiple options for communicating with external systems, including 4-20mA, RS-485 data bus and 2 relays. This unique infrared gas detector has been proven to work stably, reliably, and require minimal maintenance through practice.
Application areas include petrochemicals, metallurgy, mining, firefighting, gas, environmental protection, electricity, communication, papermaking, printing and dyeing, grain reserves, urban water supply, sewage treatment, food, brewing, scientific research, education, national defense, unique small plug-in field replaceable sensors, interference free, intelligent detector interface, output: 4-20mA, The RS-485 data bus and two alarm relays require minimal maintenance.
Non dispersive infrared technology (NDIR) is a method based on gas absorption theory. After the infrared radiation emitted by the infrared light source is absorbed by a certain concentration of the gas to be measured, the spectral intensity proportional to the gas concentration will change. Therefore, calculating the change in spectral intensity can be used to invert the concentration of the gas to be measured. NH3, CO, CH4 and other gases have their own characteristic absorption bands in the infrared band, which are distinguishable like fingerprints. By absorbing infrared energy in the characteristic absorption bands, the concentration of the gas can be reflected. When infrared energy passes through a high concentration of the test gas, all infrared energy near its characteristic absorption peak will be absorbed. When there is no gas to be measured on the optical path, infrared radiation has no effect on its characteristic absorption peak. Therefore, gas can be seen as a filter that can absorb infrared energy.
